I am a digital artist with a strong aptitude for creativity and technical design.
As a 3D modeler at Webpac, Madrid, I have created models for multi-billion-pound packaging companies such as Unilever and RPC Group, working under pressure to meet tight business deadlines and deliver artwork which exceeds client expectations. I am accomplished in the software packages Maya, Z-brush, Houdini, Mudbox, Photoshop and Substance, to name just a few, and consistently seek to improve my texturing and rendering knowledge in order to keep pace with such a fast-moving industry.
Building upon teamwork skills and anatomy knowledge gleaned throughout my time as a sports professional, I have translated my interpersonal competencies into the world of 3D, and now thrive when collaborating with fellow artists with the aim of achieving optimum results. A mathematical background and degree in Economics stands me apart from others in the industry, equipping me with the ability to approach each project in a systematic manner, which has proven invaluable during the original conceptualisation of ideas.
As a 3D modeler with intense ambition, I realise that private study is crucial to self-development. I have therefore taken it upon myself to focus my spare time on consolidating my knowledge of human anatomy, transcending my professional requirements in order to progress further in the artistic field.
Multi-tasking is a challenge from which I am not one to shy away, and I have successfully balanced a full-time 9-to-5 job with leading regular evening classes for university pupils in Madrid studying for a Master’s degree in the field. My enthusiasm for exchanging tricks of the trade continues to be demonstrated in my online blog, in which i try to improve my communication writing articles detailing about 3D design techniques in Spanish and English.
